D\u00e9couvrez ici les causes possibles de ce que l&rsquo;on appelle la crevaison lente.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment reconna\u00eetre une perte d&rsquo;air lente dans les pneus de voiture\u00a0?<\/h2>\n<p>Lorsqu&rsquo;un pneu se d\u00e9gonfle lentement, on ne le remarque g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas tout de suite. Sauf si vous conduisez un v\u00e9hicule r\u00e9cent \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le de la pression des pneus. Dans ce cas, un voyant d&rsquo;avertissement sur le tableau de bord signale que la pression d&rsquo;un pneu est trop faible. Mais m\u00eame sur les v\u00e9hicules plus anciens, vous pouvez d\u00e9tecter vous-m\u00eame assez rapidement une perte d&rsquo;air insidieuse.<\/p>\n\n<p>Si vous contr\u00f4lez la pression de l&rsquo;air \u00e0 chaque fois que vous faites le plein, vous remarquerez \u00e9galement une perte de pression progressive dans un pneu. Lorsque les pneus sont en bon \u00e9tat, il est rare qu&rsquo;il faille les regonfler lors d&rsquo;un arr\u00eat \u00e0 la pompe. Si vous devez corriger la pression d&rsquo;un ou de plusieurs pneus \u00e0 chaque fois, cela peut avoir plusieurs causes. Si la valve n&rsquo;est plus \u00e9tanche, cela peut avoir plusieurs causes. Par exemple, si de la salet\u00e9 p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans la valve, de petites particules de salet\u00e9 peuvent \u00eatre souffl\u00e9es dans le si\u00e8ge de la valve lors de la prochaine correction de la pression du pneu et faire en sorte que la valve ne soit plus \u00e9tanche. Veillez donc \u00e0 remettre en place le capuchon de protection de la valve, s&rsquo;il y en a un, apr\u00e8s le contr\u00f4le de la pression des pneus. Des fuites peuvent \u00e9galement se produire si la valve n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9e tout \u00e0 fait correctement lors du montage du pneu ou si l&rsquo;on n&rsquo;a pas remarqu\u00e9 de salet\u00e9 dans la zone du si\u00e8ge de la valve. Ces deux causes sont difficiles \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter. Vous pouvez \u00e9ventuellement v\u00e9rifier si la valve fuit en utilisant un spray de d\u00e9tection de fuites.<\/p>\n<h3>Corps \u00e9trangers dans le pneu<\/h3>\n<p>Les pneus sont certes tr\u00e8s r\u00e9sistants, mais ils peuvent \u00eatre endommag\u00e9s par des clous, des pierres pointues ou des objets \u00e0 ar\u00eates vives. Les dommages caus\u00e9s par des pierres et autres objets se situent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement sur les flancs du pneu. Il est relativement facile de contr\u00f4ler soi-m\u00eame les flancs ext\u00e9rieurs. Pour les c\u00f4t\u00e9s int\u00e9rieurs, c&rsquo;est un peu plus difficile.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dans la plupart des cas, les clous restent coinc\u00e9s dans le pneu et entra\u00eenent ainsi une lente perte de pression. Si vous d\u00e9couvrez un clou dans la bande de roulement d&rsquo;un pneu, ne le retirez pas. Il est dans ce cas pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de changer le pneu sur place. Faites r\u00e9parer le pneu avec le clou dans un atelier sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9. Cela est possible, du moins pour les pneus normaux. Sur les pneus \u00e0 grande vitesse, la r\u00e9paration n&rsquo;est pas autoris\u00e9e. Il faut alors acheter un nouveau pneu.<\/p>\n<h3>Rouille, fissures et rayures dans la jante<\/h3>\n<p>Quasiment toutes les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/jantes-tole-208\/\">jantes en acier<\/a> rouillent au fil des ans. Si le rebord de la jante est rouill\u00e9 ou si la jante pr\u00e9sente des traces de rouille autour du trou de valve, cela peut entra\u00eener des fuites et le pneu peut perdre lentement de l&rsquo;air. Ce qu&rsquo;on appelle le rebord de la jante sont les deux bords \u00e0 droite et \u00e0 gauche de la jante qui maintiennent le pneu sur la jante. La rouille autour du si\u00e8ge de la valve est pratiquement invisible de l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur. Mais vous pouvez souvent constater vous-m\u00eame une fuite caus\u00e9e par la rouille au niveau du trou de valve \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un spray d\u00e9tecteur de fuites.<\/p>\n<p>Les fissures dans une jante sont \u00e9galement une cause fr\u00e9quente de perte d&rsquo;air sournoise. La fissure ne doit m\u00eame pas \u00eatre importante. Les fissures sont caus\u00e9es par les bordures de trottoir ou les nids de poule travers\u00e9s rapidement. Les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/jantes-alu-206\/\">jantes en alliage l\u00e9ger<\/a> sont particuli\u00e8rement expos\u00e9es \u00e0 ce type de dommages. Les rayures sur les faces int\u00e9rieures d&rsquo;une jante, \u00e9ventuellement provoqu\u00e9es lors du montage du pneu, peuvent \u00e9galement entra\u00eener une fuite d&rsquo;air lente.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00c2ge avanc\u00e9 des boyaux<\/h3>\n<p>Les pneus aussi vieillissent. Ils ne se rident certes pas, mais se fissurent. Avec le temps, les plastifiants s&rsquo;\u00e9chappent et le caoutchouc devient cassant. Il a alors tendance \u00e0 se fissurer. Ces fissures laissent peu \u00e0 peu s&rsquo;\u00e9chapper l&rsquo;air du pneu. Un pneu vieux et cassant se reconna\u00eet \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence de nombreuses craquelures sur ses flancs. Les vieux pneus fissur\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre remplac\u00e9s rapidement par des pneus neufs. La perte d&rsquo;air dispara\u00eetra probablement avec les nouveaux pneus.<\/p>\n<h3>Endommagement du pneu lors de sa pose<\/h3>\n<p>Il est rare qu&rsquo;un pneu soit endommag\u00e9 lors du montage, mais cela peut arriver. Cela concerne en particulier les pneus \u00e0 profil bas. Leur profil bas les rend en effet peu flexibles. La pose demande une centaine force. Lors de cette manipulation brutale de petits dommages peuvent apparaitre sur le rebord de la jante ou sur le bord int\u00e9rieur du pneu. Ceux-ci peuvent causer avec le temps des fuites d\u2019air du pneu. Il est pratiquement impossible de constater ces dommages soi-m\u00eame. Un contr\u00f4le en atelier est recommand\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Quelles sont les cons\u00e9quences d&rsquo;un d\u00e9gonflement des pneus ?<\/h2>\n<p>Une pression d&rsquo;air trop faible entra\u00eene plusieurs cons\u00e9quences qui se manifestent rapidement. Les pneus se courbent davantage vers l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur dans la zone o\u00f9 ils sont en contact avec le sol lors de la conduite. En raison de la sollicitation et du mouvement plus importants des flancs des pneus, ceux-ci s&rsquo;usent plus rapidement. Ils chauffent \u00e9galement plus en roulant sur autoroute. Une pression trop faible des pneus augmente la r\u00e9sistance au roulement et entra\u00eene donc une consommation de carburant plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e. De plus, le comportement routier se d\u00e9grade, la direction devient spongieuse et la distance de freinage s&rsquo;allonge. La pression de gonflage doit donc \u00eatre contr\u00f4l\u00e9e r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 chaque passage \u00e0 la pompe, et corrig\u00e9e si n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n<div tous les revendeurs de pneus proposent de l&rsquo;azote \u00e0 la place de l&rsquo;air pour le gonflage des pneus. Gonfler les quatre pneus \u00e0 l\u2019azote co\u00fbte 10 \u00e0 12 euros environ. Il s\u2019agit en fait d\u2019un gaz d&rsquo;azote de qualit\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieure, sous-produit de la production de l&rsquo;azote pur. Ce gaz contient environ 90 % d&rsquo;azote et 10 % d&rsquo;air. En comparaison, l&rsquo;air que l&rsquo;on respire normalement contient environ 78 % d&rsquo;azote.<\/p>\n<p>En principe, il est vrai que l&rsquo;azote s&rsquo;\u00e9chappe plus lentement d&rsquo;un pneu en raison de ses mol\u00e9cules l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus grosses. Dans les avions de ligne et les voitures de course de Formule 1, les pneus sont gonfl\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;azote, car celui-ci r\u00e9duit le risque d&rsquo;incendie. Pour une voiture normale, en revanche, l&rsquo;azote n&rsquo;apporte aucun avantage. Des tests r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par le club automobile allemand ADAC ont montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;apr\u00e8s plusieurs mois, la diff\u00e9rence de pression entre les pneus gonfl\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;air et ceux gonfl\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;azote n&rsquo;est que de quelques centi\u00e8mes de bar. La diff\u00e9rence est \u00e0 peine perceptible.
