Et ce en raison du freinage r\u00e9cup\u00e9ratif. N\u00e9anmoins : une part de la dur\u00e9e de vie ainsi prolong\u00e9e est annul\u00e9e par la masse du v\u00e9hicule. La raison en est la batterie et le poids plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 qui en r\u00e9sulte. Cet effet est renforc\u00e9 sur les v\u00e9hicules hybrides qui doivent venir \u00e0 bout de deux entra\u00eenements en m\u00eame temps.<\/p>\n<p>Pour le travail en atelier, cela signifie que sur les voitures \u00e9lectriques aussi, des travaux de maintenance doivent \u00eatre effectu\u00e9s sur les freins. Il est par exemple n\u00e9cessaire, comme par le pass\u00e9, de remplacer le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/liquides-de-frein-304\/?cf_fabricant=ATE\">liquide de frein<\/a>. En outre, la nature des dommages ayant chang\u00e9, d&rsquo;autres travaux sont \u00e0 effectuer. Le remplacement de disques de frein oxyd\u00e9s en est un exemple. Ils sont en effet beaucoup moins sollicit\u00e9s en raison du freinage r\u00e9cup\u00e9ratif, et l&rsquo;\u00e9limination des poussi\u00e8res dues \u00e0 l&rsquo;abrasion sur les freins \u00e0 tambour. Ces derniers font un retour en force sur les voitures \u00e9lectriques. Il n&rsquo;est toutefois pas encore possible de pr\u00e9voir exactement les intervalles de maintenance et de r\u00e9paration. La technologie \u00e9volue \u00e0 un rythme rapide et constant.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu&rsquo;en est-il du changement de plaquettes ?<\/h2>\n<p>Le remplacement des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/plaquettes-de-frein-1140102\/?cf_fabricant=ATE\">plaquettes<\/a> est toujours n\u00e9cessaire sur les freins \u00e0 disque. Pour d&rsquo;autres raisons toutefois que par le pass\u00e9, en l&rsquo;occurrence la corrosion accrue et non l&rsquo;usure. Une fine couche de rouille se forme car les freins sont beaucoup moins utilis\u00e9s sur les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration. Pour cette raison, un nombre croissant de constructeurs installent des freins \u00e0 tambour. Ceux-ci sont moins sensibles \u00e0 la rouille gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur syst\u00e8me encapsul\u00e9. Les intervalles de maintenance sont donc nettement plus longs. Le m\u00e9canisme et les surfaces de freinage sont en effet bien prot\u00e9g\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur contre les influences corrosives comme la pluie et le sel.<\/p>\n<h2>Y a-t-il une sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 pour le changement du liquide de frein ?<\/h2>\n<p>Oui \u2013 les ateliers doivent tenir compte de certaines particularit\u00e9s pour le changement du liquide de frein sur les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. Il faut tout d&rsquo;abord se procurer un liquide de frein qui convienne aux v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. C&rsquo;est un liquide de plus faible viscosit\u00e9 avec un point d&rsquo;\u00e9bullition humide \u00e9lev\u00e9. Parmi les liquides de frein adapt\u00e9s, on trouve par exemple le Continental ATE Super DOT 5.1.<\/p>\n<div class=\"product-slider\" style=\"--swiper-theme-color: #d80812;--swiper-navigation-size: plaquettes usuelles ?<\/h2>\n<p>Actuellement, pour emp\u00eacher la corrosion, diff\u00e9rents rev\u00eatements sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s et test\u00e9s pour les disques de frein avec les mat\u00e9riaux de friction correspondants, notamment des rev\u00eatements en m\u00e9tal dur. On utilise aujourd&rsquo;hui fr\u00e9quemment des plaquettes \u00ab low steel \u00bb pour les garnitures de friction. Pour r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me de la corrosion, les freins \u00e0 tambour sont \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9s (voir ci-dessous la r\u00e9ponse 5.b). Ils sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 test\u00e9s sur les essieux avant.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00c0 propos des freins \u00e0 tambour<\/h2>\n<h3>Pourquoi utilise-t-on \u00e0 nouveau des freins \u00e0 tambour sur l&rsquo;essieu arri\u00e8re de certaines voitures \u00e9lectriques ?<\/h3>\n<p>Sur les voitures \u00e9lectriques, une grande partie des processus de freinage est utilis\u00e9e pour la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration. Le frein est moins sollicit\u00e9. Les freins \u00e0 disque, notamment dans des conditions hivernales, sont donc nettement plus expos\u00e9s \u00e0 la corrosion. Il sont ainsi plus vuln\u00e9rables \u00e0 la formation de rouille. Cela vaut surtout pour l&rsquo;essieu arri\u00e8re, sur lequel le freinage agit moins souvent. Ce qui change, ce sont des d\u00e9tails sp\u00e9cifiques. Les freins \u00e0 tambour mont\u00e9s dans les voitures \u00e9lectriques ont un kilom\u00e9trage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, de meilleures propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de protection contre la corrosion et un encapsulage qui retient la poussi\u00e8re dans le frein. Cette poussi\u00e8re peut \u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9e lors d&rsquo;une visite en atelier. Le mot cl\u00e9 : la r\u00e9duction des particules.<\/p>\n<p>Continental a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 tout r\u00e9cemment un nouveau d\u00e9veloppement dans ce domaine : le frein de stationnement EPB SI (Electronic Parking Brake \u2013 Simplex). La nouveaut\u00e9 sur ce frein \u00e0 tambour hydraulique est sa fonction de frein de stationnement \u00e9lectrom\u00e9canique. L&rsquo;EPB-SI est fond\u00e9 sur le principe Simplex (EPB-Si). Il est particuli\u00e8rement robuste et demande peu d&rsquo;entretien. Cela correspond aux exigences de vie utile accrue sur les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. Par ailleurs, le frein de stationnement \u00e9lectrique offre aux constructeurs automobiles une plus grande marge de man\u0153uvre et davantage d&rsquo;options pour l&rsquo;am\u00e9nagement de l&rsquo;habitacle et l&rsquo;installation de syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;assistance au conducteur. Le syst\u00e8me de frein \u00e0 tambour est en outre graduable.
