Elle d\u00e9finit des crit\u00e8res de qualit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s proches de ceux des pi\u00e8ces d&rsquo;origine. Celle-ci d\u00e9finit des exigences minimales concernant la fabrication de pi\u00e8ces de rechange pour freins. Les plaquettes et m\u00e2choires de frein certifi\u00e9es doivent pr\u00e9senter les m\u00eames performances que les pi\u00e8ces d&rsquo;origine du constructeur automobile. L&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 du freinage et la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la chaleur sont des crit\u00e8res importants. En novembre 2016, la norme ECE R90 a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendue. Depuis, les exigences de qualit\u00e9 s&rsquo;\u00e9tendent \u00e9galement aux disques et aux tambours de frein.<\/p>\n<p>La norme ECE R90 vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des consommateurs. Lorsque vous achetez des pi\u00e8ces de rechange pour vos freins, la certification vous permet de savoir imm\u00e9diatement quels produits sont fiables pour une utilisation en Europe.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Exigences_de_qualite_relatives_aux_pieces_de_rechange_pour_freins_selon_la_norme_ECE\"><\/span>Exigences de qualit\u00e9 relatives aux pi\u00e8ces de rechange pour freins selon la norme ECE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Pour que les fabricants obtiennent la certification ECE R90 pour leurs produits, ils doivent non seulement prouver le respect des exigences minimales mais \u00e9galement soumettre leurs produits \u00e0 des tests permanents. Les plaquettes et les patins de frein doivent par exemple r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces exigences :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coefficient de frottement \u00e9quivalent \u00e0 celui de la pi\u00e8ce d&rsquo;origine<\/li>\n<li>Capacit\u00e9 de charge m\u00e9canique, r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la pression et au cisaillement \u00e9quivalents.<\/li>\n<li>Utilisation de mat\u00e9riaux exempts d&rsquo;amiante<\/li>\n<li>Emballage scell\u00e9 du produit<\/li>\n<li>Indication du num\u00e9ro de contr\u00f4le ECE sur l&#8217;emballage et la pi\u00e8ce de rechange<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les disques et tambours de frein doivent passer diff\u00e9rents contr\u00f4les et tests. Un test pratique sur banc d&rsquo;essai ex\u00e9cute 70 freinages cons\u00e9cutifs de 80 \u00e0 10 km\/h. Ce n&rsquo;est que si les disques et tambours de frein passent ce test sans fissures, cassures ou autres dommages qu&rsquo;ils obtiennent la certification. De m\u00eame, il faut que l&rsquo;effet de freinage soit maintenu \u00e0 long terme. \u00c0 cela s&rsquo;ajoutent d&rsquo;autres tests, par exemple sur les coefficients de frottement des pi\u00e8ces de rechange.<\/p>\n<p>Une fois la certification obtenue, les revendeurs doivent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement faire effectuer des contr\u00f4les par des organismes de contr\u00f4le ind\u00e9pendants. Ceux-ci v\u00e9rifient si les crit\u00e8res sont toujours remplis. Dans le cas contraire, ils retirent la certification au fabricant.<\/p>\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comment_trouver_des_pieces_de_rechange_homologuees_ECE_R90\"><\/span>Comment trouver des pi\u00e8ces de rechange homologu\u00e9es ECE R90 ?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Dans le commerce, vous pouvez facilement reconna\u00eetre les pi\u00e8ces de rechange certifi\u00e9es pour vos freins gr\u00e2ce au code d&rsquo;homologation. Celui-ci est figure sur l&#8217;emballage du produit et visible sur les pi\u00e8ces elles-m\u00eames. Vous pouvez ainsi facilement distinguer dans le magasin les pi\u00e8ces de rechange qui r\u00e9pondent aux normes europ\u00e9ennes. Vous pouvez facilement comparer. Il existe un grand choix de pi\u00e8ces de rechange conformes \u00e0 la norme ECE R90. De nombreux fabricants ont fait certifier une grande partie de leur offre.<\/p>\n<p>Opter pour des pi\u00e8ces certifi\u00e9es vous apporte plusieurs avantages :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vous trouverez sans difficult\u00e9 des pi\u00e8ces de rechange adapt\u00e9es et de haute qualit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Comparer les prix est un jeu d&rsquo;enfant : les pi\u00e8ces certifi\u00e9es sont faciles \u00e0 comparer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"La_norme_ECE_est-elle_obligatoire\"><\/span>La norme ECE est-elle obligatoire ?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Il n&rsquo;y a aucune obligation pour les fabricants de faire certifier leurs pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 la norme ECE R90. Et vous n&rsquo;\u00eates pas oblig\u00e9 de recourir \u00e0 des pi\u00e8ces de rechange certifi\u00e9es. Il existe toutefois une exception \u00e0 cette r\u00e8gle : si le lancement d&rsquo;un mod\u00e8le de v\u00e9hicule a eu lieu apr\u00e8s le 1er novembre 2016, seuls les disques et tambours de frein conformes \u00e0 la norme ECE R90 peuvent \u00eatre mont\u00e9s.
