Ce n&rsquo;est pas aussi simple que cela. Vous devez d&rsquo;abord d\u00e9terminer quels <strong>pneus sont adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 votre v\u00e9hicule<\/strong>. L&rsquo;indice de charge joue un r\u00f4le important \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. D\u00e9couvrez ici comment <strong>d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;indice de charge<\/strong>, o\u00f9 le trouver et si vous pouvez \u00e9quiper votre v\u00e9hicule d&rsquo;un pneu dont l&rsquo;indice de charge est sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui pr\u00e9conis\u00e9 par le constructeur.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que l&rsquo;indice de charge ?<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;indice de charge renseigne sur la capacit\u00e9 de charge d&rsquo;un pneu. Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, il indique la <strong>charge maximale<\/strong> que peut supporter un pneu.<\/p>\n<p>Avant d&rsquo;acheter des pneus, vous devez toujours v\u00e9rifier l&rsquo;indice de charge de votre voiture, car il est obligatoire pour chaque v\u00e9hicule. Vous pouvez relever l\u2019indice de charge directement <strong>sur le flanc du pneu<\/strong>. Vous y trouverez un code alphanum\u00e9rique, par exemple \u00ab\u00a0185\/65R15 88H\u00a0\u00bb. \u00a0Dans cet exemple, le \u00ab\u00a088\u00a0\u00bb correspond \u00e0 l&rsquo;indice de charge. Notez toutefois qu\u2019<strong>il ne s&rsquo;agit pas d&rsquo;une indication concr\u00e8te de poids<\/strong>, mais d&rsquo;un simple indice.<\/p>\n<p>Vous trouverez \u00e9galement ces informations sur une \u00e9tiquette \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de la porte conducteur ou dans le manuel utilisateur du v\u00e9hicule.<\/p>\n<p>Vous pouvez ainsi d\u00e9terminer facilement les mod\u00e8les de pneus autoris\u00e9s pour votre voiture.<\/p>\n<h2>Indice de charge des pneus : comment le d\u00e9terminer ?<\/h2>\n<p>Vous pouvez en principe calculer l&rsquo;indice de charge et d\u00e9terminer ainsi le poids que peuvent supporter vos pneus. La formule de base est toutefois assez complexe. Il est donc plus simple de consulter un <strong>tableau d&rsquo;indice de charge<\/strong> pour trouver la valeur exacte. Elles se r\u00e9f\u00e8rent \u00e0 une <strong>pression de gonflage identique de 2,5 bars<\/strong>. Si la pression de gonflage est inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 cette valeur, la charge maximale diminue encore. En revanche, si vous augmentez la pression, la charge maximale peut m\u00eame augmenter dans un premier temps. Une r\u00e8gle empirique dit que pour chaque augmentation de pression de 0,1 bar, l&rsquo;indice de charge des pneus augmente de 1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exemple :<\/strong> Si un pneu a un indice de charge de 78 et qu&rsquo;il est gonfl\u00e9 \u00e0 2,9 bars, l&rsquo;indice passe \u00e0 82 et la charge maximale passe de 425 \u00e0 475 kilogrammes.<\/p>\n<p>Cela n&rsquo;est toutefois pas recommand\u00e9. Les pneus peuvent alors <strong>s&rsquo;user plus rapidement et\/ou d&rsquo;un seul c\u00f4t\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conseil :<\/strong> La vitesse \u00e0 laquelle vous roulez a \u00e9galement une influence sur l&rsquo;indice de charge r\u00e9el. Plus vous roulez vite, plus la capacit\u00e9 de charge du pneu est faible. Il vaut donc mieux partir du principe que la capacit\u00e9 de charge est plus faible, en particulier <strong>\u00e0 partir d&rsquo;une vitesse de 210 km\/h<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div
