Or, ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne pr\u00e9sente de nombreux inconv\u00e9nients, il convient donc de le pr\u00e9venir en appliquant <strong>un antifouling sur votre bateau<\/strong>. D\u00e9couvrez dans cet article ce qu&rsquo;est l&rsquo;antifouling pour bateau, comment choisir le bon produit et comment <strong>peindre l&rsquo;antifouling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu&rsquo;est-ce qu&rsquo;un antifouling pour bateau ?<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;antifouling est une <strong>peinture sp\u00e9ciale<\/strong> utilis\u00e9e pour <strong>peindre toutes les surfaces et tous les composants d&rsquo;un bateau immerg\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;eau<\/strong>. Dans la plupart des cas, cette peinture contient des biocides qui sont lib\u00e9r\u00e9s r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement. Ils endommagent les organismes marins (par exemple les moules, les balanes) et les plantes (par exemple les algues) et emp\u00eachent l&rsquo;accumulation de boue. Il existe cependant aujourd&rsquo;hui des antifoulings pour bateaux qui ne contiennent pas de biocides et qui sont donc plus respectueux de l&rsquo;environnement.<\/p>\n<p>Le type d&rsquo;antifouling que vous pouvez utiliser pour votre bateau d\u00e9pend de son mat\u00e9riau. Pour un bateau en fibre de verre, il existe des antifoulings durs, des antifoulings \u00e0 couche mince et des antifoulings autopolissants. Suivez toujours les instructions du fabricant concernant les couleurs et v\u00e9rifiez la compatibilit\u00e9 avec le bois, l&rsquo;acier ou le GRP (Plastique renforc\u00e9 de fibres de verre).<\/p>\n<h2>L&rsquo;antifouling est-il n\u00e9cessaire ?<\/h2>\n<p>Vous vous demandez peut-\u00eatre si un antifouling est vraiment n\u00e9cessaire pour votre bateau. Pour augmenter la dur\u00e9e de vie de votre bateau, vous ne devriez pas y renoncer. En effet, ce rev\u00eatement protecteur pr\u00e9sente <strong>plusieurs avantages<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Performance :<\/strong> l&rsquo;antifouling emp\u00eache les parasites de s&rsquo;installer. Ces derniers peuvent parfois peser lourd tout en augmentant consid\u00e9rablement la r\u00e9sistance au frottement du bateau. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;antifouling, votre bateau glisse dans l&rsquo;eau avec moins de r\u00e9sistance et donc plus rapidement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consommation de carburant :<\/strong> une r\u00e9sistance et un poids r\u00e9duits ont \u00e9galement un effet positif sur la consommation de carburant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pilotage :<\/strong> si des algues se fixent sur le gouvernail ou l&rsquo;h\u00e9lice, cela peut avoir une influence n\u00e9gative sur le temps de r\u00e9action aux man\u0153uvres de pilotage. Dans le pire des cas, le pilotage peut m\u00eame ne pas fonctionner du tout.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dur\u00e9e de vie :<\/strong> si vous prot\u00e9gez votre bateau avec un antifouling, vous augmentez la dur\u00e9e de vie du gelcoat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\u00c0 quelle fr\u00e9quence dois-je refaire l&rsquo;antifouling de mon bateau ?<\/h2>\n<p>Id\u00e9alement, vous devriez <strong>refaire l&rsquo;antifouling de votre bateau tous les ans<\/strong>. Le moment id\u00e9al pour le faire est quelques semaines avant le d\u00e9but de la saison. Si vous peignez r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement l&rsquo;antifouling, une seule couche peut suffire. C&rsquo;est notamment le cas si vous rangez votre bateau en hiver. Si la derni\u00e8re couche remonte \u00e0 <strong>plus de deux ans<\/strong>, vous devrez parfois en <strong>appliquer deux, voire plus<\/strong>. Dans le cas contraire, la protection risque d&rsquo;\u00eatre insuffisante.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conseil :<\/strong> appliquez les diff\u00e9rentes couches d&rsquo;antifouling en plusieurs couleurs. Vous reconna\u00eetrez alors \u00e0 la couleur translucide quelle couche est encore intacte.
