Pourtant, il y a des moments o\u00f9 il est n\u00e9cessaire de tester l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/alternateurs-10502\/\">alternateur<\/a>. D\u00e9couvrez ici quand cela est utile.<\/p>\n<h2>Quand faut-il tester l&rsquo;alternateur ?<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;alternateur d&rsquo;une voiture est en principe un grand g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur qui alimente en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 tous les appareils \u00e0 bord. Lorsque vous conduisez, l&rsquo;alternateur charge la batterie du v\u00e9hicule. Certains sympt\u00f4mes permettent de reconna\u00eetre un dysfonctionnement de l&rsquo;alternateur. L&rsquo;alternateur n&rsquo;est donc pas forc\u00e9ment compl\u00e8tement HS.<\/p>\n<h3>Dysfonctionnement de l&rsquo;\u00e9clairage<\/h3>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, le t\u00e9moin de charge du v\u00e9hicule devrait \u00eatre le premier \u00e0 signaler que l&rsquo;alternateur ne fonctionne plus correctement. Mais parfois, ces voyants sont \u00e9galement en panne. Il est alors utile de savoir que l&rsquo;alternateur peut \u00eatre en cause, par exemple si les ampoules de vos phares grillent rapidement ou si l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 lumineuse des phares n&rsquo;est pas constante. Ce dernier sympt\u00f4me se manifeste g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement par une diminution de l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 lumineuse lorsque vous roulez \u00e0 bas r\u00e9gime et par une augmentation de l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 lumineuse lorsque vous acc\u00e9l\u00e9rez.<\/p>\n<h3>Dysfonctionnement de la batterie<\/h3>\n<p>Si la batterie ne fonctionne pas comme d&rsquo;habitude, v\u00e9rifiez l&rsquo;alternateur ou le r\u00e9gulateur d&rsquo;alternateur. Il est par exemple suspect que la batterie du v\u00e9hicule s&rsquo;\u00e9chauffe lors de la recharge. En revanche, si vous rencontrez des difficult\u00e9s avec une batterie trop faiblement charg\u00e9e, par exemple au d\u00e9marrage du v\u00e9hicule, cela peut \u00e9galement indiquer un d\u00e9faut de l&rsquo;alternateur.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment tester un alternateur ?<\/h2>\n<p>La mani\u00e8re la plus rapide et la plus simple de tester l&rsquo;alternateur est d&rsquo;utiliser un multim\u00e8tre. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un appareil qui mesure la tension de la batterie. Pour ce faire, branchez le c\u00e2ble sur la batterie (le moteur doit \u00eatre \u00e9teint) et v\u00e9rifiez si la valeur de la tension se situe entre 12,2 et 13,6 volts. Si ce n&rsquo;est pas le cas, vous devez d&rsquo;abord charger la batterie.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, d\u00e9marrez le moteur et relevez \u00e0 nouveau la valeur. Si la tension se situe entre 13,4 et 14,8 volts, tout est en ordre. Ensuite, faites tourner le moteur au ralenti jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 4 000 tours par minute et mesurez \u00e0 nouveau : la tension doit se situer entre 13,4 et 14,8 volts. Si ces valeurs ne sont pas atteintes, l&rsquo;alternateur est tr\u00e8s probablement d\u00e9fectueux &#8211; ou alors c&rsquo;est le r\u00e9gulateur de l&rsquo;alternateur qui est en cause. Pour cela, vous devez v\u00e9rifier si la courroie est tr\u00e8s us\u00e9e ou cass\u00e9e, ou si la poulie d&rsquo;alternateur est endommag\u00e9e.
