Leur r\u00f4le est de transmettre la pression dans le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/freinage-114\/\">syst\u00e8me de freinage<\/a>, de lubrifier les composants hydrauliques et de les prot\u00e9ger contre la corrosion. Les liquides de frein des v\u00e9hicules modernes doivent avoir un point d&rsquo;\u00e9bullition \u00e0 sec aussi \u00e9lev\u00e9 que possible.<\/p>\n<p>Si le point d&rsquo;\u00e9bullition est trop bas, des vapeurs se forment dans le syst\u00e8me de freinage en cas de forte sollicitation. Ces vapeurs demeurent dans le syst\u00e8me de freinage sous forme de bulles d&rsquo;air, allongeant ainsi la course de la p\u00e9dale de frein et provoquant, dans le pire des cas, une d\u00e9faillance des freins !<\/p>\n<p>Les liquides de frein modernes doivent garantir et permettre le fonctionnement rapide et correct des syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ABS et ESP modernes gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une faible viscosit\u00e9 avec un spectre de temp\u00e9rature tr\u00e8s large. Les liquides de frein \u00e0 base de glycol &#8211; r\u00e9pondent le mieux \u00e0 ces exigences. En m\u00eame temps, ils absorbent l&rsquo;eau de l&rsquo;environnement en raison de leur forte hygroscopicit\u00e9. Cela entra\u00eene un abaissement du point d&rsquo;\u00e9bullition et une perte des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de protection contre la corrosion. La faible viscosit\u00e9 du liquide de frein change \u00e9galement avec l&rsquo;augmentation de la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;eau, ce qui affecte le fonctionnement des syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire l&rsquo;ABS et l&rsquo;ESP.
