Et qui dit bo\u00eete manuelle, dit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/embrayage-10401\/\">embrayage<\/a> &#8211; souvent command\u00e9 par un c\u00e2ble reli\u00e9 \u00e0 la p\u00e9dale. Comme un c\u00e2ble de frein de v\u00e9lo, ce c\u00e2ble peut casser avec l\u2019\u00e2ge. R\u00e9sultat ? Un grand <em>CLONK<\/em>, la p\u00e9dale s\u2019enfonce dans le vide\u2026 et s\u2019en suivent recherche, acrobaties et jurons \u00e9touff\u00e9s. Sinon, mieux vaut confier \u00e7a \u00e0 un professionnel. Un c\u00e2ble d\u2019embrayage cass\u00e9 ou mal remont\u00e9 n\u2019est pas dangereux en soi, mais la voiture ne se conduira plus normalement. Et sur la route, \u00e7a peut vite devenir g\u00eanant &#8211; voire immobilisant. Le diagnostic est sans appel.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Une_rupture_toujours_imprevisible\"><\/span>Une rupture toujours impr\u00e9visible<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Le c\u00e2ble d\u2019embrayage, qui relie la p\u00e9dale \u00e0 la commande sur la bo\u00eete, ne demande normalement aucun entretien. Sur certains v\u00e9hicules modernes, l\u2019embrayage est hydraulique &#8211; si c\u2019est votre cas, cet article ne vous concerne pas. Mais sur les voitures plus anciennes ou \u00e9conomiques, on retrouve encore un bon vieux c\u00e2ble type Bowden. Avec les contraintes m\u00e9caniques quotidiennes, il peut finir par c\u00e9der. Et l\u00e0, la p\u00e9dale part dans le vide. Vous voil\u00e0 sans embrayage, incapable de passer les vitesses. Les plus exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s r\u00e9ussiront \u00e0 rentrer chez eux en jouant avec le r\u00e9gime moteur (double d\u00e9brayage et compagnie). Pour les autres : remorquage obligatoire.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ce_quil_vous_faut_pour_intervenir\"><\/span>Ce qu\u2019il vous faut pour intervenir<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Changer un c\u00e2ble d\u2019embrayage n\u2019est pas tant une question d\u2019outils sp\u00e9ciaux que de patience et de rep\u00e9rage. Tout d\u00e9pend de votre voiture. Les extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s du c\u00e2ble sont souvent simplement clips\u00e9es \u00e0 la p\u00e9dale et au levier d\u2019embrayage, mais il peut y avoir quelques vis ou clips \u00e0 d\u00e9monter. Une grosse pince multiprise ou un levier peut aider \u00e0 comprimer le levier d\u2019embrayage. Selon les mod\u00e8les, l\u2019acc\u00e8s au levier d\u2019embrayage se fait plus ou moins facilement depuis le compartiment moteur. En principe, pas besoin de se glisser sous la voiture.<\/p>\n<p>Mon exemple du jour ? Une merveille de complexit\u00e9 \u00e0 la fran\u00e7aise : le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/pieces-de-rechange-accessoires\/citroen\/\">Citro\u00ebn<\/a> XM bo\u00eete manuelle. Devant, c\u2019est bien encombr\u00e9. Mais en s\u2019y prenant bien, on acc\u00e8de \u00e0 tout. Chez moi, il suffit de d\u00e9caler la bo\u00eete \u00e0 air et le bocal de LHM (la fameuse centrale hydraulique), fix\u00e9s par quelques \u00e9crous. C\u2019est pr\u00e9vu d\u00e8s la conception. Une fois les \u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u00e9plac\u00e9s, on acc\u00e8de au c\u00e2ble au niveau du moteur. Tout est clair ? Alors, direction l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la voiture pour la suite.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Acrobatie_sous_le_volant\"><\/span>Acrobatie sous le volant<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On entre ici dans la phase gymnastique. Le c\u00e2ble passe par la cloison et se fixe en haut de la p\u00e9dale d\u2019embrayage. Pour y acc\u00e9der, il faut souvent d\u00e9monter un habillage sous le tableau de bord. Ensuite, allongez-vous &#8211; sans vous faire mal &#8211; et suivez le c\u00e2ble jusqu\u2019\u00e0 son point d\u2019attache. Comme c\u2019est cens\u00e9 durer toute la vie de l\u2019auto, ce n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment pens\u00e9 pour faciliter le remplacement. Il faut le faire passer par les m\u00eames ouvertures, dans le m\u00eame cheminement, puis le clipser aux deux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s. On commence logiquement c\u00f4t\u00e9 p\u00e9dale.<\/p>\n<p>Dans mon cas (avec syst\u00e8me de contrepoids et rattrapage manuel), il faut introduire le c\u00e2ble depuis le compartiment moteur, puis le fixer \u00e0 la p\u00e9dale. Une fois cette partie en place, on termine le montage c\u00f4t\u00e9 moteur.
