Peu importe qu\u2019elle soit frein\u00e9e ou non, une remorque est aliment\u00e9e \u00e9lectriquement par une prise \u00e0 13 ou 7 broches situ\u00e9e \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/attelage-511\/\">attelage<\/a>.<br \/>\nLes mod\u00e8les r\u00e9cents ont souvent des feux de recul, antibrouillard, voire des \u00e9clairages ambiance \u00ab boule \u00e0 facettes \u00bb, ce qui explique la g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation des prises \u00e0 13 broches. Et ce dernier se trouve g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement sous ou \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re du pare-chocs, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire en premi\u00e8re ligne face \u00e0 la boue, \u00e0 l\u2019eau, au sel de voirie et au gel.<br \/>\nSans entretien r\u00e9gulier (graissage ou traitement anticorrosion), l\u2019humidit\u00e9 s\u2019infiltre, les contacts s\u2019oxydent, et tout finit par se d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ger. Sur mon vieux Mercedes, la prise \u00e9tait totalement morte : en la d\u00e9montant, les vis ont l\u00e2ch\u00e9 et l\u2019ensemble est tomb\u00e9 en miettes. Mais si vous avez d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 une pince \u00e0 sertir, un d\u00e9nudeur ou des connecteurs rapides, vous pouvez vous lancer &#8211; \u00e0 condition que le c\u00e2blage \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re du v\u00e9hicule soit accessible. En revanche, les gros utilisateurs pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent un mod\u00e8le fixe, plus robuste et facile \u00e0 monter. Dans mon cas, le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent montage \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s artisanal. Un vrai fouillis de fils, de \u00ab voleurs de courant \u00bb et m\u00eame de dominos ! Ce genre de choses n\u2019a rien \u00e0 faire dans une voiture.<br \/>\nC\u2019est pourquoi un sch\u00e9ma de c\u00e2blage pr\u00e9cis est indispensable. Si vous l\u2019avez perdu, il faudra tout tester \u00e0 la main.<br \/>\nJ\u2019ai retrouv\u00e9 un vieux sch\u00e9ma de mon ancien Twingo, avec les annotations du technicien Bosch. Ne jetez jamais \u00e7a ! L\u2019emplacement exact d\u00e9pend du mod\u00e8le de voiture.<br \/>\nCe qui compte, c\u2019est un travail propre : on sertit, on fixe, on isole. Mais pas de dominos ni de voleurs de courant. M\u00eame si \u00e7a tient au d\u00e9but, au fil des ans, \u00e7a bouge, \u00e7a frotte, et on se retrouve avec un feu de coffre. H\u00e9las, on d\u00e9couvre souvent les pannes \u00e9lectriques en automne ou en hiver, quand il fait froid, humide, et qu\u2019on n\u2019a pas le temps.<br \/>\nUne fois tout en place et fonctionnel, un peu de cire en spray permettra d\u2019\u00e9vacuer l\u2019humidit\u00e9 et de freiner la corrosion.
