Peut-on encore rouler avec \u00e7a aujourd\u2019hui ?<\/p>\n<p>Neige ? Verglas ? Les vitres du Patrol construit par Nissan Iberica \u00e0 Barcelone ne veulent toujours pas vraiment d\u00e9givrer, alors que le diesel s\u2019emploie depuis d\u00e9j\u00e0 quinze kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 r\u00e9chauffer le liquide de refroidissement autour de ses 2,8 litres de cylindr\u00e9e. Surtout en hiver, une chose est claire : le Nissan Patrol n\u2019est pas une paisible berline de voyage. C\u2019est un vrai tout-terrain. Les ressorts \u00e0 lames n\u2019ont \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9s par des ressorts h\u00e9lico\u00efdaux qu\u2019en 1988, mais cela n\u2019a pas transform\u00e9 en mod\u00e8le de confort le Y61 propos\u00e9 en Allemagne \u00e0 partir de 1998. Si l\u2019on ignore le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, le joint de culasse \u2013 voire la culasse compl\u00e8te \u2013 peut en faire les frais. Parfait.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>M\u00eame si les si\u00e8ges sont r\u00e9ellement confortables, le Nissan Patrol n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour une arriv\u00e9e styl\u00e9e devant l\u2019op\u00e9ra. Ce r\u00f4le revient plut\u00f4t \u00e0 son successeur Y62, avec sa carrosserie autoporteuse et ses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.fr\/produits\/suspension-115\/\">suspensions<\/a> ind\u00e9pendantes, qui ouvre clairement la porte au SUV. Ou, si l\u2019on reste dans le tout-terrain pur, au Mercedes Classe G.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours des deux derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, le terrain de jeu du Patrol s\u2019est plut\u00f4t situ\u00e9 dans les champs d\u2019un centre \u00e9questre, en for\u00eat ou en montagne. Les Nissan Patrol rouillent sans retenue s\u2019ils n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 prot\u00e9g\u00e9s suffisamment t\u00f4t. Le ch\u00e2ssis \u00e9chelle, en particulier les supports de guidage d\u2019essieux, la traverse arri\u00e8re et les bas de caisse, sont des points sensibles : des trous gros comme le poing dissimul\u00e9s sous une couche de protection bitumineuse ne sont pas rares. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une garde au sol de 20 cm sous les essieux, ces zones peuvent toutefois \u00eatre inspect\u00e9es presque debout, m\u00eame sans pont \u00e9l\u00e9vateur. Mais dans l\u2019ensemble \u2013 \u00e0 quelques exceptions pr\u00e8s \u2013 tout reste disponible. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des dimensions g\u00e9n\u00e9reuses, le Patrol est aussi facile \u00e0 r\u00e9parer pour les bricoleurs. De la Belgique \u00e0 la Normandie, puis au Mont-Saint-Michel, \u00e0 La Rochelle, Bordeaux et Biarritz. Par les Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es vers l\u2019Espagne et l\u2019Andorre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, puis le long de la spectaculaire Alta Via del Sale, sur la cr\u00eate frontali\u00e8re ligure. En passant par la Pologne et la Lituanie jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la presqu\u2019\u00eele de Courlande, ou \u00e0 travers le nord de la Scandinavie.<\/p>\n<p>Avec la banquette rabattue, l\u2019immense espace arri\u00e8re permet de dormir et de stocker des bagages. On vit dans ce type de voiture. Les bourrelets de si\u00e8ges s\u2019usent, les tapis portent les traces de la boue du monde, et divers objets trouvent leur place dans les vide-poches des portes ou la console centrale \u2013 c\u2019est simplement le quotidien.
